About me

I am a Mexican composer, focused on the analysis of spiritual chants from ancient cultures as a form of inspiration for my current work.

Currently studying a second master’s degree, in film scoring at the Université Lumière Lyon II, in France, I began my musical studies as a pianist at the National Conservatory of Music of Mexico, where I later studied composition. In 2023 I got my first master’s degree in composition at the University of Bergen, in Norway, with the Hungarian composer Dániel Péter Biró. My music has been premiered in Mexico, Japan, India, France and Norway, by ensembles such as Quasar Saxophone quartet, Edvard Grieg Vocal Ensemble, BIT20 ensemble, EON ensemble, among others.

In addition to my academic focus, I have also worked as a composer in contemporary dance and theater productions; in documentaries, short films, TV commercials for brands like Mazda, Cervecería Modelo, and Chedraui; and as a composer assistant in Mexican TV series and films (IMDb). As a producer I have worked with several rock and pop artists from Mexico, Norway and India, and recently I released my project as an independent artist: Miloz Orbe
